About Student Representatives Selection Process
 
Dear students,
 
Between 13-15 December 2021, the 2021-2022 academic year undergraduate / graduate programs student representative elections will be held. Students who will be candidates should apply to the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering between 29 November-2 December 2021.
 
The Student Representative Election Calendar to be applied is given below. The process will be carried out in accordance with the articles determined by the Yıldız Technical University Student Council Directive given in the appendix.

Announcement of the student representative election calendar on 25 November 2021
 
29 November-2 December 2021 Representative candidates' application to the department heads *Graduate student representative candidates will also apply to my department.
 
3 December 2021 Checking whether the representative candidates meet the candidate conditions, determining the candidates and announcing them to the students and candidates
 
6-10 December 2021 Propaganda of the Representative candidates
 
13-15 December 2021 Department/Department student representative elections are held in accordance with YTU Student Council Articles 6-9 and 13, and the results are reported to the Department/Division Heads with a report.
 
Announcement of the election results of 16 December 2021 to candidates and students, notification of the results to the Faculty Dean, the Graduate School of Sciences and the Vice Rector of Education
 
 
 
Qualifications to be Required in Students Who Will Be Candidates for Student Representatives*
 
Yildiz Technical University Student Council Directive Chapter 2, Article 6 "Requirements for students who will be candidates for student representatives" are given below:
 
 
 
a) Having fewer than the second year students of the relevant Faculty,
 
b) Not being a member or an official in political party organs,
 
c) Not having a criminal record due to disgraceful crimes,
 
d) Not to have received any disciplinary punishment other than a warning from the Higher Education Institution,
 
d) Not having frozen the registration at the time of the election,
 
e) Having a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 out of 4 as of the beginning of the election period,
 
f) Not having any affiliation or affiliation with or connection with terrorist organizations.
